One hidden five-letter word, six guesses. Every guess tells you which letters are right, close, or nowhere near.

How to play
Type any five-letter word and press Enter. Each tile then changes color: green means the letter is correct and in the right spot, gold means the letter is in the word but in a different spot, and gray means the letter isn't in the word at all. The on-screen keyboard tints to match your best clue for each letter. Use the clues to narrow it down within six guesses — run out, and the word is revealed.
Duplicate letters follow the strict rules: clues are handed out against the answer's actual letter counts, so if the answer has one E, guessing three E's can only ever light up one of them. The answer is always drawn from a built-in pool of 721 common five-letter words, and guesses are accepted from that pool plus 899 more real words (1,620 total) — if a guess is rejected as "not in the word list," that's a free clue in itself. Strong openers cover common letters and vowels: CRANE, AUDIO, and RAISE are all in the pool.
