URL Parser

Break any URL into its component parts — protocol, host, port, path, fragment — and inspect every query parameter in a clean list.

Include the scheme (https://). Updates live as you type.

How it works

Every URL follows the same anatomy: scheme://host:port/path?query#fragment. The scheme (usually https) tells the browser which protocol to use, the host names the server, and the optional port selects a service on that server (browsers assume 443 for HTTPS when it is omitted). The path identifies the resource, the query string after the ? carries key=value pairs that pages and APIs use for search terms, filters, and tracking — the same key may appear more than once, and this tool lists every occurrence. The fragment after # never leaves your browser; it points at a section of the page. This parser uses your browser's built-in URL engine, so international domain names and percent-encoded characters are decoded exactly the way the browser sees them.
