Time Zone Converter
Pick a date and time plus the zone it's in, and see the same moment expressed in any other zone — daylight saving handled automatically.
How it works
The tricky part of time zones isn't the arithmetic — it's daylight saving time, which shifts offsets twice a year on different dates in different countries. This converter sidesteps the guesswork by using your browser's built-in time-zone database (the same IANA data operating systems use): it interprets your date and time as wall-clock time in the "from" zone, resolves the exact UTC instant including whatever DST rule was in effect that day, then formats that instant in the "to" zone. Half-hour zones like India's UTC+5:30 and date-line crossings come out right automatically. Because the database ships with the browser, conversions also stay correct for historical and future dates as long as your browser is up to date.
