Coin Flip
Settle it fairly — flip a virtual coin, or flip ten at once and watch the tally.

How it works
A fair coin has two equally likely outcomes, so each flip is a 50/50 proposition — and crucially, flips are independent, meaning five heads in a row does not make tails "due" next (that misconception is the gambler's fallacy). This tool draws each flip from your browser's random number generator and keeps a running tally with percentages, which is a nice way to watch the law of large numbers in action: flip ten coins and the split might be 70/30, but flip a few hundred and it converges toward 50/50. Use single flips to settle decisions and the flip-10 mode for quick probability experiments.
