How it works

An acronym takes the first letter of each word — “Federal Bureau of Investigation” becomes FBI. Small connector words like "of", "the", and "and" are skipped — which is why you get FBI rather than FBOI — and leading punctuation is ignored so quoted words still contribute their letter. Uppercase mode normalizes everything to capitals, while the periods style inserts dots between and after letters for the classic F.B.I. look. It is a quick way to brainstorm names, initialisms, and abbreviations from project titles.
